ACME: Known issues

Currently, we are aware of these ACME integration issues.To report errors, please contact our Support team.

ACME now supports Custom Fields, enabling you to add custom fields to your request forms for creating your ACME Directory URLs. See Add a custom field to your request forms.

Known issues

ACME directory URL stops working correctly. Recreate the ACME directory URL.
Unable to submit requests that require approvals. Enable automatic approvals for certificate requests in your CertCentral account.

Note: ACME protocol supports only the auto-approval certificate request workflow.
Unable to renew certificates. None
Unable to reissue certificates. None
Unable to submit requests for order with more than 100 SANs. Remove extra SANs from the request.

If you modify, add, or remove custom fields on a request form after you create the ACME directory URL, you must delete and recreate all affected ACME directory URLs.
Note: DigiCert recommends adding all needed custom fields to your forms before creating ACME directory URLs, if possible.
