Enable vulnerability assessment service

Enable the vulnerability assessment service for your Secure Site Pro or Secure Site EV certificate order. With this service, you can start scanning the public domains on your order for vulnerabilities.

Before you begin

Make sure your Secure Site Pro / Secure Site EV certificate has been issued and is active. The vulnerability assessment tool does not appear when a Secure Site Pro / Secure Site EV certificate order is pending issuance, has expired, or has been revoked.

Enable vulnerability assessment

  1. In your CertCentral account, in the left main menu, go to Certificates > Orders.

  2. On the Orders page, select the Secure Site Pro / Secure Site EV certificate's order number link.

  3. On the certificate's Order details page, click Enable vulnerability assessment.

  4. Carefully read through the acknowledgement.

  5. When you are done, click I agree.

What's next

It may take some time for the vulnerability assessment service to scan the domains on the order and gather all the relevant information. You might want to check back later to view the results.

Once the scan is complete, on the Vulnerability assessments page, we list any vulnerabilities found for the domains. On the certificate's order details page, in the Vulnerability assessment dropdown, click View.
