Configure firewall settings

Use the following steps to configure a firewall exception on the computer running Autoenrollment Server.

  1. Open Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall.

  2. From the Firewall configuration console, select Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall.

  3. Click Allow another app.

  4. In the Add an app dialogue window, select Browse.

  5. Navigate to C:\Program Files\DigiCert\AEServer and select the AutoEnrollmentDCOMSrv.exe file and select Add.

  6. A new line titled “DigiCert Autoenrollment Server Configuration Utility” is added to the list. Check the appropriate boxes to allow it within Domain, Private, or Public networks.

  7. Click OK to close the dialog and apply changes.
