  • All active certificates are revoked.

  • All pending certificate orders are canceled.

  • Your CertCentral account becomes read-only except for generating reports.

What happens if I cancel my subscription more than 30 days after activation?

  • No refund is issued.

  • You retain full access to your account until your subscription ends at the end of the current 12-month term.

  • Certificates and services remain active until the subscription end date.

  • Certificates are revoked upon the subscription end date, unless paid for through the remaining validity period.

    Tip

You have the option to pay a one-time remaining lifecycle fee to keep valid certificates that expire after your subscription end date.

  • After the subscription ends, your CertCentral account becomes read-only except for generating reports.

Cancel your CertCentral account subscription

  1. In your CertCentral account, in the left main menu, go to My Digital Trust Products > My subscription.

  2. On the Subscription page, in the Subscription actions dropdown, select Cancel my subscription.

  3. Review all restrictions, results, and impacted certificates before continuing.

  4. OPTIONAL: For subscriptions canceled more than 30 days since purchase, if you have certificates that expire after your subscription end date, you have the option to keep these certificates until they expire, for an additional fee.

  5. Select Yes, I want to cancel my subscription.

What's next

After you cancel a CertCentral account subscription:

  • If you chose to keep valid certificates after your subscription ends, we will remind you near the end date of the remaining certificates and the fee to keep them.

  • If you decide to keep your services through the next renewal period, or if you want to add new services, restart your subscription. You can restart your subscription any time before the end date.
