Upgrade Content Trust Desktop Signer provider/token

This option lets you upgrade the provider or token to the latest version.

Note

The upgrade requires local administrator privileges on Windows.

To upgrade the provider or token:

  1. Select Upgrade provider/token.

  2. A dialog box opens. Select Submit to start the Content Trust Desktop Signer Provider or Token installer.

    1. On Windows: A system pop-up asks you to allow the application to make changes to your device if you do not have local administrator privileges. Follow the on-screen steps to install and register the Content Trust Desktop Signer Provider.

    2. On macOS: the upgrade runs in the background.
