Create a certificate profile for an EJBCA CA connector

Create a DigiCert® Device Trust Manager certificate profile to specify the EJBCA certificate profiles you want to use from your EJBCA server.

Before you begin

  • Ensure you have at least one CertCentral CA connector.

  • Ensure you know:

    • The EJBCA end entity profile you want to use.

    • The EJBCA certificate profile and credentials you want to use.

    Important

    For EJBCA version 7.9 and earlier, ensure you have the exact names of the EJBCA profiles you want to use.

  1. Sign in to DigiCert® ONE.

  2. In DigiCert ONE, in the Manager menu (grid at top right), select Device Trust Manager.

  3. In the Device Trust Manager menu, select Certificate management > Certificate profiles.

  4. Select Create certificate profile.

  5. Enter a name for the certificate profile.

  6. For CA source, select EJBCA API.

  7. Select the CA connector you want to use to connect to EJBCA.

  8. Specify the EJBCA End entity profile you want to use.

    • For EJBCA versions 7.10 and later, select the end entity and certificate profiles you want to use, then enter the certificate profile credentials.

    • For EJBCA version 7.9 and earlier, enter the exact names of the end entity and certificate profiles you want to use, then enter the certificate profile credentials.

  9. Specify divisions or allow all divisions in your Device Trust Manager account to use this certificate profile.

  10. Review and update the certificate parameters for the selected profile as needed.

  11. Select Create.
