User roles

User roles allow admins to quickly assign a set of DigiCert ONE permissions to new and existing users. DigiCert ONE user roles approximate your users' real-world responsibilities. Each user role defines a specific set of permissions and the specific actions the user can perform in DigiCert ONE. Admins can also create custom user roles to match specialized or unique responsibilities within your organization.

Notice

Users created before May 2023 are unaffected by the introduction of user roles. Existing users retain the same set of permissions they had previously, but can be assigned a user role at any time.

To manage users and user roles in the DigiCert ONE portal, go to Account Manager and select Access in the main navigation menu.
