Secure your private keys for code signing
DigiCert® KeyLocker is a cloud‐based solution that generates and provides FIPS 140-2 level 3 compliant private key storage for your code signing certificates. DigiCert® KeyLocker is an automated alternative to manually generating and storing your private key on a hardware token that can be lost or stolen or purchasing a hardware security module (HSM) and it storing on-premises. Cloud storage provides the additional benefit of allowing you to access your private key at any time and sign from anywhere. Refer to the KeyLocker Data Sheet for more information.
As of March 19, 2024, DigiCert® KeyLocker certificates will have a standard DigiCert® KeyLocker service fee regardless of the validity period of the certificate. This fee entitles you to a limit of one signer and 1,000 signatures per certificate. You can increase your signature limit at any time by purchasing additional signatures in increments of 1,000.
