OpenSSL

Sign directly with OpenSSL while your private key remains securely stored in DigiCert​​®​​ Software Trust Manager. This signing method requires one of our cryptographic libraries:

  • OpenSSL provider

  • PKCS11 library

Tip

Using OpenSSL 3.x or higher?

We recommend signing with the Software Trust Manager OpenSSL provider. Signing will fail if you sign with our PKCS11 library.
