Standard and service users

Create a standard user for a person who signs in interactively. Create a service user for an application or automated integration that accesses DigiCert ONE through an API. A service user cannot sign in interactively.

Do not use a person’s account or credentials for a shared integration. Create a separate service user for each integration so its permissions, credentials, activity, and lifecycle can be managed independently.
