DigiCert user and account deactivation and deletion policy

DigiCert reserves the right to deactivate users and accounts after prolonged inactivity. Upon suspension, users and accounts may be permanently deleted at our discretion without notification*.

User suspension policy

An inactive user is defined as follows:

  • Has not logged in within the last 39 months.

    • The last log-in date is more than the last 39 months.

    • The last used date for active API keys associated with the user is more than the last 39 months.

  • Has never logged in.

    • The last log-in date is null.

    • The user creation date is more than the last six months.

Account suspension policy

An inactive account is defined as follows:

  • Has no active users or API keys, as defined above.

  • Has no active certificates.

    • The last certificate issued was more than 39 months ago.

    • And the last active certificate expired more than six months ago.
