Delete domains in CertCentral

Learn how to delete domains in CertCentral.

Before you begin

To delete domains in your account, you must be a CertCentral administrator. Deleting a domain removes it from your account and hides it from the list of domains.

Items to note:

  • Existing certificates that include the deleted domain are unaffected and remain valid until they expire.

  • You can re-add the domain to CertCentral.

  • Before ordering a certificate for a deleted domain or domains, you must re-add them to CertCentral.

Delete a domain

  1. In the CertCentral main menu, go to Certificates > Domains.

For CertCentral Subscription accounts, in the left main menu, go to the Validations > Domains.

  2. On the Domains page, in the Domain name column, select the domain you want to delete.

  3. On the domain's details page, in the Domain actions menu, select Delete domain.

  4. In the Delete domain window, select Delete domain.

You’ve now removed the domain from your CertCentral account.

Re-add the deleted domain
