SAML SSO: Get a copy of the XML file with DigiCert’s SP metadata

Use this instruction to get a current version of the static XML formatted SP metadata provided by DigiCert.

Before you begin

When configuring your SAML Single Sign-on (SSO) to CertCentral connection, you added the static XML formatted SP metadata provided by DigiCert to your identity provider's (IdP) metadata. With static XML, you must manually update your DigiCert SP metadata in your IdP if it ever changes.

Get a copy of the static XML file with DigiCert’s SP metadata

  1. In your CertCentral account, in the left main menu, go to Settings > Single Sign-On.

  2. On the Single Sign-on (SSO) page, under Configure SSO settings for users in this account, select Edit SAML.

  3. On the Configure SAML integration page, under DigiCert’s Service Provider (SP) Metadata, select the Static XML Metadata link.

  4. In the Static XML field, select Copy.

  5. Go to your IdP and add the static XML formatted SP metadata provided by DigiCert to update the SAML SSO connection.

What's next

After you update IdP, sign in to your CertCentral account and finalize the updated SAML SSO to CertCentral connection. On the CertCentral Sign in to your account page, select Sign in with SSO, and use your IdP credentials to sign in to your CertCentral account.
