SAML certificate requests: Get a copy of the XML file with DigiCert’s SP metadata
Use this instruction to get a current version of the static XML formatted SP metadata provided by DigiCert.
Before you begin
When configuring your SAML certificate request to CertCentral connection, you added the static XML formatted SP metadata provided by DigiCert to your identity provider's (IdP) metadata. With static XML, you must manually update your DigiCert SP metadata in your IdP if it ever changes.
Get a copy of the static XML file with DigiCert’s SP metadata
In your CertCentral account, in the left main menu, go to Settings > SAML Certificate Requests.
On the SAML Certificate Requests page, select Edit federation settings.
On the Federation Settings page, under DigiCert's SP Metadata, select the Static XML Metadata link.
In the Static XML field, select Copy.
Go to your IdP and add the static XML formatted SP metadata provided by DigiCert to update the SAML SAML certificate request connection.
What's next
After you update your IdP, sign in to the certificate request URL (SP or IdP initiated) to finalize the updated SAML certificate request to CertCentral connection.
