Key management

The private keys of the keypairs belonging to your certificates are most often stored on FIPS-level 3 certified Hardware Security Modules that are securely managed by dedicated PKI Operations and Systems teams. In the cases of publicly trusted certificates, DigiCert​​®​​ is regularly audited for, and complies with, all requirements defined by the CAB Forum, browser partners, and others.
