ACME automation workflow

Follow these general steps to automate your certificate deployments using a third-party ACME client with DigiCert​​®​​ Trust Lifecycle Manager:

  1. Install and configure third-party ACME software

    Install and configure your preferred ACME client on each server.

  2. Create ACME-based certificate profiles

    Create certificate profiles in DigiCert​​®​​ Trust Lifecycle Manager to define certificate issuance options and generate the required ACME credentials.

  3. Initiate certificate lifecycle automation events

    To begin automating certificate management, invoke the ACME client installed in step 1 with the EAB credentials from step 2.
