Agent statuses

The status indicates the current state of a DigiCert agent. You can view the status of an agent in DigiCert​​®​​ Trust Lifecycle Manager in the following ways:

  • Go to the Discovery & automation tools > Agents page, find the agent in the table, and check the Status column for it. If the Status column does not appear, select the Add Column button on the top-right of the table to add it.

  • Select an agent from the Discovery & automation tools > Agents table to view the details for it. The agent status is shown in the top section of the details page. For error statuses, look for a top banner with troubleshooting information.

Status

Description

Action needed

The agent stopped working and requires attention.

Active

The agent is installed and activated.

Authentication error

The agent could not be activated and is not ready for use.

Communication error

Trust Lifecycle Manager lost network connectivity to the agent.

Configured

The agent is configured for certificate automation on one or more IP/port targets.

Not configured

The agent is ready for use, but has not been configured for certificate automation.

Pending approval

The agent requires manual approval, but has not been approved yet.

Suspended

The agent has been temporarily suspended from operation.

Upgrading

The agent software is being upgraded.
