Managed automation workflow

With the managed automation solution in DigiCert​​®​​ Trust Lifecycle Manager, you can automate management of certificates across a variety deployment targets directly from your centralized inventory.

Follow these high-level steps to enable managed automation for certificates deployed on web servers, network appliances, cloud services, and vaults.

  1. Verify your systems are supported and all prerequisites are met.

  2. Deploy the required client tools for the target systems.

  3. Configure the automation clients and integrations.

  4. Create certificate profiles for automated management.

  5. Start managing your certificate deployments, individually or in bulk.

These steps are specific to DigiCert​​®​​ Trust Lifecycle Manager's managed automation solution. To use a third-party ACME client to request and manage certificates from the command-line interface (CLI) on web servers, refer to the Third-party ACME client integration guide.
