SAML Single Sign-on prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure the following prerequisites are met:

  • Have a CertCentral account.
  • Have SAML enabled for your account*.
  • Have an Identity Provider (IdP).
  • Have your IdP metadata (dynamic or static).
  • You are an administrator in your account (or a manager with the Allow access to SAML settings permission).

*To get the SAML features turned on for your CertCentral account, contact your DigiCert account representative or our Support team. Once activated, in the sidebar menu, under Settings, you'll see the Single Sign-On and SAML Certificate Request menu options.
