Instead of entering all the subaccount's contact information yourself, send the user an invitation with a link to create their own subaccount. Once the user completes the invitation, they can immediately sign in to their subaccount and begin ordering products.
Subaccounts created through invitations are automatically set to self-billing (Bill subaccount) with default CertCentral pricing. After the subaccount is created, you can change the billing and pricing settings for the subaccount, unless a contract is assigned to that subaccount. If you want to configure these settings before the user has access, use the Create subaccount option instead of an invitation.
Add the user's email address and subaccount type. The user is sent an email with a link to complete their account creation by providing their contact and organization information.
In your CertCentral account, in the sidebar menu, go to Subaccounts.
On the Subaccounts page, click Invite subaccount.
In the Invite subaccount window:
Click Send invitation.
DigiCert will send the user an email invitation with a link to create their CertCentral subaccount. The user will need to provide their contact information, organization information, and create their username and password in order to create the account.
Once complete, a CertCentral subaccount is automatically created. The user can begin ordering products and managing their account.
Invitations automatically expire after 30 days.
On the Manage invitations page, check the status of an invitation, resend or cancel an invitation, see who sent the invitation, etc.
In your CertCentral account, in the sidebar menu, go to Subaccounts.
On the Subaccounts page, click Manage invitations to see the subaccount invitations that have been sent.
To view the details of an invitation, click its Status.
