Add or replace the CSR on a pending certificate order

Use these instructions to add the CSR to a pending certificate order.

Before we can issue your TLS/SSL certificate, you must include a certificate signing request (CSR) in your order. You can also update the CSR on a pending certificate order, if needed.

  1. In your CertCentral account, go to the certificate's Order # details page.

    1. In the sidebar menu, select Certificates > Orders.

    2. On the Orders page, locate the pending certificate order you need to change the CSR on.

    3. In the Order # column of the certificate order, select the order number link.

  2. On the Order details page, in the Order Status section, under You Need To, click the Change CSR link.

    Notice

Did you order the certificate from the website? If so, you didn't have a CertCentral account at the time and weren't required to submit a CSR when you ordered the certificate. In this case, select the Upload CSR link.

  3. To add your new CSR, in the Upload CSR window, upload your CSR to or paste it into the Add Your CSR box.

    Notice

When copying the text from the CSR file, make sure to include the -----BEGIN NEW CERTIFICATE REQUEST----- and -----END NEW CERTIFICATE REQUEST----- tags.

  4. Select Upload.

  5. Congratulations! You successfully updated the CSR on your pending certificate order.
