Turn on automatic certificate renewals

For most certificate types including TLS/SSL, client certificates, and Code Signing.

Before you begin

  • The Auto-Renew feature is disabled for certificate orders that were paid for with a credit card.

  • EV code signing and document signing certificates don't support automatic certificate renewals.

Turn on Auto-Renew

  1. In your CertCentral account, in the sidebar menu, select Certificates > Orders.

  2. On the Orders page, use the dropdown lists, search box, or column headers to locate the SSL certificate that needs to be automatically renewed.

  3. In the Order # column, select the Quick View link of the SSL certificate.

  4. In the Quick View pane on the right, select + Show More Certificate Info... to expand the Order Details section. Under Auto-Renew, check the box or select the total number of times you want to renew the certificate.

  5. The Auto-Renew option is now on.

Each time the certificate is 30 days before its expiration date, it will be automatically renewed.
