Revoke an issued TLS/SSL certificate

When needed, you can revoke an issued TLS/SSL certificate. For example, you may need to revoke a certificate because the certificate is no longer needed, or because the certificate’s private key has been compromised.

The SSL/TLS certificate revocation process consists of three steps:

  1. Customer submits a request to revoke an TLS/SSL certificate.

  2. An administrator approves the request.

  3. DigiCert revokes the TLS/SSL certificate.
