Revoke an issued SSL/TLS certificate

When needed, you can revoke an issued SSL/TLS certificate.

For example, you may need to revoke a certificate because the certificate is no longer needed, or because it’s been determined that the certificate’s private key has been compromised.

The SSL/TLS certificate revocation process consists of three steps:

  1. Submitting a request to revoke an SSL/TLS certificate.
  2. An administrator approving the request.
  3. DigiCert revoking the SSL/TLS certificate.
