Request to revoke an SSL/TLS certificate

Use these instructions to submit a request for revoking an SSL/TLS certificate.

  1. In your CertCentral account, go to the Orders page.

    In the sidebar menu, click Certificates > Orders.

  1. On the Orders page, use the dropdowns, search box, advanced search features (Show Advanced Search link), and column headers to filter the list of certificates.

  1. In the Order # column, click the Quick View link for the SSL/TLS certificate you want to revoke.

  1. In the Order number details pane (on the right), in the Actions dropdown, select Revoke certificate.

  1. On the Request to Revoke Certificate page, select the reason for revoking the certificate.

  1. Optional: To skip additional admin approval, check the Revoke this certificate immediately box.

  1. Optional for admin approval: Provide additional info for the request approver, such as why you are requesting to revoke the certificate or more info about the certificate.

  1. Select Request revocation.

What's next

After an account administrator approves your request, DigiCert will revoke the SSL/TLS certificate.
