Submit a request to revoke an TLS/SSL certificate

Notice

Before DigiCert can revoke the certificate, an account administrator must approve the revocation request.

  1. In your CertCentral account, in the left main menu, go to the Certificates > Orders page.

  2. On the Orders page, use the dropdowns, search box, advanced search features (Show Advanced Search link), and column headers to filter the list of certificates.

  3. In the Order # column, click the Quick View link for the SSL/TLS certificate you want to revoke.

  4. In the Order number details pane (on the right), click the Revoke Certificate link.

  5. On the Request to Revoke Certificate for Order page, in the Reason for Revocation box, type the reason you want to revoke the certificate. for example, the certificate is no longer needed.

  6. Click Request Revocation.

What's next

After an account administrator approves your request, DigiCert will revoke the certificate.
