SAML: Resend the Create Your DigiCert Client Certificate email

If a SAML user deletes or loses the Create Your DigiCert "Client Certificate" email before they create their client certificate, resend that email from your CertCentral account.

Before you begin

  • You must be an administrator in your CertCentral account.
  • You must have the SAML user's information (name, email address, etc.).

Resend email

  1. Go to the client certificate's Order # detail page

    1. In your CertCentral account, in the sidebar menu, click Certificate > Orders.
    2. On the Orders page, click the order number link for the client certificate.
  1. Resend the issuance email

    1. On the Order # details page, under Certificate Details, in the Email Addresses section, click Resend Issuance Email.
    2. The link will change to Sent.

What's next

The SAML user is sent a Create Your DigiCert "Client Certificate" email with a new link.

When you click Resend Issuance Email, the old link expires and can't be used to generate a client certificate.
