Controle over uw domein aantonen met een DNS CNAME-record

Use these instructions to add a domain to your CertCentral account and validate it using the DNS CNAME domain control validation (DCV) method. In the domain's DNS as a CNAME record, add _dnsauth in the hostname field. Then, add [random_value].dcv.digicert.com to the target host field, to point the random value and domain to DigiCert at dcv.digicert.com.

Voordat u begint

Toon controle over uw domein aan door een DNS CNAME-record te maken met een willekeurig gegenereerde waarde. De CNAME-record wordt gebruikt om het token en domein naar DigiCert (dcv.digicert.com) te laten wijzen.

To use the domain in organization validation (OV), extended validation (EV), or private TLS/SSL or Secure Email certificates, you must submit the organization for validation. See the Submit an organization for validation instructions.

Once you have an organization, add a domain to the account and assign it to an organization.

Stap I: Een domein toevoegen en autoriseren voor TLS/SSL-certificaten

  1. In CertCentral, in the left main menu, go to Certificates > Domains.

    For CertCentral Subscription accounts, in the left menu, go to Validation > Domains.

  2. Klik op de pagina Domeinen op Nieuw domein.

  3. Op de pagina Nieuw domein, onder Domeindetails, voert u de volgende gegevens in:

    1. Domeinnaam

      Voer in het veld de domeinnaam in die de certificaten moeten beveiligen.

    2. Organisatie

      Selecteer in de vervolgkeuzelijst de organisatie waaraan u het domein wilt toewijzen.

  4. Onder DCV-methode (Domain Control Validation), selecteert u DNS CNAME-record.

  5. Klik op Verzenden voor validatie wanneer u klaar bent.

Stap II: DNS CNAME-record gebruiken om controle over het domein aan te tonen

  1. On the domain's page, in the Domain control validation (DCV) method section, under User actions, copy the random value from Your unique verification token.

    The unique verification token expires in 30 days. To generate a new token, select the Generate New Token link.

  2. Use one of these options to create your DNS CNAME record.

    1. Sla de record op.

      1. Go to your DNS provider’s site and create a new CNAME record.

      2. In the hostname field (or equivalent), enter _dnsauth.

      3. In the record type field (or equivalent), select CNAME.

      4. In the target host field (or equivalent), enter [random_value].dcv.digicert.com to point the CNAME record to dcv.digicert.com.

      5. Select a Time-to-Live (TTL) value or use your DNS provider's default value.

      6. Save the record.

    2. Kopieer uw verificatietoken onder Gebruikersacties, in het veld Uw uniek verificatietoken. Om de waarde naar uw klembord te kopiëren, klikt u één keer in het tekstveld.

      On October 28, 2025, DigiCert is ending support for the [random_value] prefix DNS CNAME record configuration. To learn more about this change, see the October 28 change log entry.

      1. Ga naar de site van uw DNS-provider en maak een nieuwe CNAME-record.

      2. Plak in het hostnaamveld (of equivalent daarvan) het verificatietoken dat u vanuit uw DigiCert-account heeft gekopieerd.

      3. Selecteer CNAME in het veld recordtype (of equivalent daarvan).

      4. Typ in het doelhostveld (of equivalent daarvan) dcv.digicert.com (dit verwijst de CNAME-record naar dcv.digicert.com).

      5. Selecteer een Time-to-Live (TTL)-waarde of gebruik de standaardwaarde van uw DNS-provider.

      6. Sla de record op.

  3. De DNS CNAME-record verifiëren:

    1. In CertCentral, in the left main menu, go to Certificates > Domains..

      For CertCentral Subscription accounts, in the left menu, go to Validation > Domains.

    2. Op de pagina Domeinen, in de kolom Domeinnaam, klikt u op de domeinkoppeling.

    3. Klik onderaan de pagina met domeininformatie op CNAME controleren.
