Request a TLS/SSL certificate from a CertCentral subscription

Request a new certificate for a TLS/SSL subscription in your DigiCert CertCentral account. These steps describe manual certificate management (non-automated) to request the certificate.

  1. Sign in to your CertCentral account and go to My digital trust products > My subscription.

  2. Find the TLS/SSL product subscription that you want to request a certificate for.

  3. For that subscription, select Actions > Request a certificate.

  4. Select Manage certificate myself and select Next.

  5. Upload or paste your CSR (certificate signing request).

  6. Enter the certificate Common name (your primary domain/website URL).

  7. Enter any SANs (subject alternative names—additional domains/website URLs) if applicable.

  8. Set the Certificate validity (how long the certificate is valid for when issued).

  9. Select your preferred Domain control validation (DCV) method.

  10. Add or select the Organization that owns or manages the website you want to secure.

  11. Select Submit request to place the certificate order.
