Assigned seat types

When you import third-party certificates into DigiCert​​®​​ Trust Lifecycle Manager, they are automatically assigned one of these seat types:

  1. Imported seat: Certificates are assigned to this seat type if their issuing CA was previously imported into your DigiCert ONE account and configured with the required parameters in DigiCert® CA Manager.

    • Allowed operations:

      • Download

      • Revoke

      • Suspend/Resume

    • Validation: yes

  2. Discovery seat: Certificates are assigned to this seat type if their issuing CA does not exist within your DigiCert ONE account.

    • Allowed Operations:

      • Download

    • Validation: no
