Switch between DigiCert ONE environments
When you first access the DigiCert ONE Clients app, you need to select your DigiCert ONE environment before you can sign in to your account.
Use this guide if you need help with selecting an environment or have access to:
Production and demo environments
Accounts with data stored in different regions
Nota
If you have one DigiCert ONE, you shouldn't need to select different environments unless you initially selected the wrong one.
What is a DigiCert ONE environment
DigiCert ONE environments are defined by three important factors:
Account type: Production or demo
Region: Where your data is stored (for example, United States, Netherlands, Japan)
Sign in method
Standard authentication: Username and password, or single sign-on (SSO)
Client authentication: Client authentication certificate

Not sure which option to select?
Use the sign in link in your welcome email or check other emails sent from no-reply@digicert.com. The URL in the email should match the correct option in the environment dropdown.
Each option in the environment dropdown corresponds to one of these URLs.

Switch production environments
DigiCert ONE Clients version 1.1.0 or later, enables you to select a production environment:
On the first launch of DigiCert ONE Clients.
At any time if you right-click the DigiCert ONE Clients icon in the taskbar or system tray.
To select or change a production environment:
Open DigiCert ONE Clients.
On the Select your sign in URL page, open the DigiCert ONE environment drop-down menu.
Select the URL you use to sign in.
Dica
If your organization uses a custom (customer-hosted) DigiCert ONE URL, select Use a custom URL and enter your sign in URL.
You can reopen the page used during first launch to select your production environment. The steps vary by operating system. Review the instructions for your operating system:
Switch to demo environment
Demo environments don’t appear in the app menu. To use one, update the configuration file.
Open the config.json file on your computer:
[Your HOME]\.digicert-ucpc\config.json
Edit line 31 (
"dcone":) and update this to the URL of the DigiCert® ONE environment you want to use.Example:
"dcone": "https://demo.one.digicert.com"
Restart the DigiCert ONE Clients app.
To restore the original US production environment:
Delete the config.json file:
[Your HOME]\.digicert-ucpc\config.json
Restart the DigiCert ONE Clients app.
