DigiCert Secure Site Pro and Secure Site TLS/SSL certificates come with the two most recognized trust marks on the web: DigiCert Smart Seal and Norton seal*. Use one of these premium site seals to display proof of trust on your site. Site seals are available in your CertCentral account.
*If you choose to display the Norton seal on your website, please note that the Norton seal is available until October 16, 2023. If you have questions or concerns about using the Norton seal, please contact your account manager or our support team.
DigiCert Smart Seal does not set or use cookies of any kind.
Make sure DigiCert has issued your certificate, and you have the certificate's order number. Site seals are tied to the issued certificate order. You can only access the site seal from your issued certificate's Order # details page.
Site seal and information page changes may take up to two hours to appear on your website. DigiCert recommends using the preview features included on the Site seal page to preview your modifications rather than waiting for them to appear on your website.
The DigiCert Smart Seal allows you to add your company logo to the site seal. Before you upload your company logo, make sure it is formatted correctly:
You can upload your company logo to your certificate order. Preview it in your site seal hover-over effect and animation so you can see how it will appear. Then save your site seal configuration.
However, DigiCert must approve your company logo before it appears in the DigiCert Smart Seal on your website.

The Smart Seal animation works without your logo. Once approved, the Smart Seal on your website updates automatically to include your logo.
When you click on the DigiCert Smart Seal or Norton seal*, you see additional details about the domain, the organization, the TLS/SSL certificate, and the validation.
Secure Site and Secure Site Pro certificates allow you to add information to the site seal information page. This additional information enables site visitors to see the steps you are taking to ensure your website is secure:
CT Log monitoring
CT log monitoring is only available for Secure Site Pro certificates. Before you can add CT log monitoring to your site seal's information page, you must enable CT log monitoring for your certificate order.
PCI compliance scan
PCI compliance scan is only available for Secure Site Pro and Secure Site EV certificates. Before you can add the PCI compliance scan to your site seal's information page, you must enable the Vulnerability assessment service for your certificate order.
DigiCert Smart Seal features: Choose the seal size, enable a hover effect, enable animation, add your company logo, and configure the site seal information page.
Norton seal features*: Choose the seal size and configure the site seal information page.
In your CertCentral account, in the left main menu, go to Certificates > Orders.
On the Orders page, in the Order # column, click the certificate's order number link.
On the Order # details page, click Site Seal.
Select a seal image
On the Site Seal page, under Select a seal image, select your site seal image: DigiCert or Norton*.
Size
In the Configure the seal section under Size, select your site seal size: small, medium, or large.
Animation – DigiCert Smart Seal only
The Norton seal does not include the animation features.
Use the Preview feature to review all Smart Seal animation changes before applying them to your website.
Site seal information page
Secure Site and Secure Site Pro certificates allow you to add additional information to the site seal information page. To Preview your changes, you must first click Save changes. If you don't, the preview will not show your recent changes.
When you are ready, click Save configuration.
Site seal changes may take up to two hours to appear on your website.
Use the options in the Do you need to install your site seal? section to get the site seal code so you can share it with those who will put the site seal on your website. When you email the code, we send all the code to you (HTML and JavaScript).
