Managing discovery configuration in CertCentral Discovery is different from Complete Website Security (CWS), but we’ll make sure your important information—the IPs and networks you want to monitor—are transferred to CertCentral Discovery so you don’t have to do the work.
Moving your sensor and scan settings does not move certificate data discovered in previous CWS scans. However, CertCentral Discovery will be ready to scan your network again immediately following the sensor and scan transfer!
If you haven’t already, contact your account manager to set up your new CertCentral account and turn on Discovery.
Explore the CertCentral console, including Discovery.
Contact your account manager and let your rep know you’re ready to move your CWS sensor and scan settings to CertCentral Discovery.
Make sure your CWS sensor software is up-to-date and your sensors are active without errors.
A recent sensor software update is required to migrate CWS sensor and scan settings.
Make sure your networks allow communication with the CertCentral cloud service.
Sign in to your CertCentral account and go to the Discovery Dashboard. Click Import CWS discovery at the top of the page.
How do my CWS discovery settings get transferred to CertCentral Discovery?
If we’re unable to repoint a sensor to the CertCentral cloud service, you’ll need to manually repoint the sensor.
Run new scans to bring new certificate discovery data into CertCentral Discovery.
