When you import your CWS sensor and scan settings to CertCentral Discovery, we reconfigure your sensors to communicate with the CertCentral cloud service instead of CWS.
In the rare case that we can’t repoint your sensor, it’s easy to do yourself if you have access to the sensor installation directory.
Make sure your network allows your sensor to communicate with the CertCentral cloud service.
Extract the package content to your sensor installation directory. The package contains:
config.properties
updatelicense.sh
for Linux or updatelicense.bat
for Windowsupdatelicense.jar
Run updatelicense.sh
for Linux or updatelicense.bat
for Windows.
The process automatically updates cloud service URLs in your license file.
Restart the sensor with restart.sh
(or stop.sh
then start.sh
).
