Create an alert
In the Device Trust Manager menu, go to Overview > Alerts.
Select Create alert.
Enter a name for the alert.
Under Account activity, select the Event type. The following options are available:
Certificate issuance threshold:
Use this event type to get notified when a large number of certificates are issued in a short period of time. This helps you spot unusual spikes in activity, so you can take action when something doesn’t look right.
Expiring certificates:
Use this event type to get notified when your certificates are nearing expiration. This helps you stay on top of renewals and avoid unexpected service disruptions.
Certificate issuance:
Use this event type to get notified instantly whenever a certificate is issued. This provides real-time visibility into certificate activity so you can track changes as they happen.
Certificate renewed:
Use this event type to get notified when a certificate is updated or replaced with a new one. This helps you keep track of renewals and ensures your systems stay up to date with the latest certificates.
Certificate revoked:
Use this event type to get notified when a certificate is revoked. This helps you quickly identify invalid or compromised certificates so you can respond without delay and keep your systems secure.
Choose the Event type based on your requirement.
Choose the certificate management policies to monitor:
Choose certificate management policy: To monitor a specific certificate management policy, select the policy from the dropdown list.
All policies: Alternatively, to monitor all certificate management policies, select All policies.
Choose the Notification method:
Note
You can’t configure email notifications for Certificate issuance, Certificate renewed, and Certificate revoked alerts. These alert types support webhook notifications only.
Email: Add the email addresses of administrators or other recipients who should receive the alerts.
Optionally, add a custom email message.
Webhook: Provide the webhook URL and choose the authentication from the available options:
None
HTTP (provide the API Key Header and Value)
Basic (provide the required credentials)
Select Test webhook to test your webhook details.
Select Create alert to activate the alert policy.
