Modify a certificate profile

To perform this action, you must have a user role that contains the Solution administrator permission.

After you create a certificate profile, you can update it as needed to meet the needs of your device deployment.

Important

Changing the contents of a certificate profile affects all certificate management profiles, certificate requests, and certificate renewals that rely on the certificate profile.

To modify a certificate profile:

In the Device Trust Manager menu, go to Certificate management > Certificate settings > Certificate profiles.

  1. Select the certificate profile you want to modify.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Modify the certificate profile details as needed.

  4. When done, select:

    • Save profile: Saves the modified certificate profile.

      The modified certificate profile is listed under Certificate management > Certificate settings > Certificate profiles

    • Edit and select: Save the modified certificate profile and proceed to the Certificate management policy section.

You can now use the updated certificate profile when creating certificate management policies for your devices.
