Credential commands
This section covers commands that you use in SMCTL to manage DigiCert® Software Trust Manager credentials for the operating system credential store. These commands are: save and delete credentials.

To view manage credentials commands, run:
smctl credentials --help
or
smctl creds -h
Subcommands
Credential commands begin with:
smctl creds <subcommand>
The credentials command supports these subcommands:

Delete credentials
Description: Delete the API token and client authentication certificate password from the operating system credential store if one exists.
Command:
smctl credentials delete
Command sample:
smctl creds delete
Save credentials
Description: Save the API key and the client certificate password in the operating system credential store.
Subcommand:
smctl creds save <api key> <client authentication certificate password>
