Chef

You can get certificates from Trust Lifecycle Manager into your Chef nodes using one of the following enrollment methods. Select the links for detailed instructions about each method.

  • ACME-based enrollment: Use the ACMEv2 protocol to generate the request and download the resulting certificate. The provided instructions are for Linux-based Chef deployments, but can be adjusted for other operating systems.

  • API-based enrollment: Use the Trust Lifecycle Manager REST API to request issuance and get the certificate back in the API response. This integration method is OS agnostic.
