Manage connected network appliances and cloud services

Edit connector settings

To update the settings of a connected network appliance or cloud service:

  1. In the main menu, select Integrations > Connectors.

  2. On the Connectors page, select the name of the connected network appliance/service to view the details for it.

  3. On the connector details page, in the Details section, select the edit (pencil) icon.

  4. Update the settings you want to modify:

    • Name

    • Managing sensor

    • Other details such as credentials, which are based on the type of network appliance/service

  5. Select the Update button to apply your changes.

Refresh configuration

Refresh the configuration of a connected network appliance or cloud service to force DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager to update its inventory of IP addresses, ports, and associated credentials for that appliance or service.

Each connector automatically refreshes every 24 hours, or you can manually refresh at any time. For example, run a manual refresh after making local changes to a load balancer to read those changes into DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager's inventory of the IP addresses and ports on that load balancer.

To manually refresh the configuration of a connected network appliance or cloud service:

  1. From the menu, select Integrations > Connectors.

  2. On the Connectors page, find the network appliance or cloud service you want to refresh.

  3. Hover the name of the connector, open the actions (three dots) menu, and select Refresh configuration.

Note

The configuration can also be refreshed from the connector details page. From the Integrations > Connectors page, first select the name of the network appliance/service to view the details for it, then select the icon showing the gear being reloaded.

Removal

Delete a connector to remove the network appliance/service from your DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager environment. Deleting a connector stops all certificate lifecycle automation activities for it.

To delete a connector for a managed network appliance/service:

  1. In the main menu, select Integrations > Connectors.

  2. On the Connectors page, find the network appliance or service you wish to remove.

  3. Hover the name of connector, open the actions menu menu, and select Delete.

Note

A connector can also be deleted from the connector details page. Select the name of the connector first, then use the actions menu on the details page to delete it.
