Add API users in customer-hosted environments
API service users are for API access and functions. Unlike standard users, service users do not represent an individual but are used for automated workflows and integrations.
To add an API user in the customer-hosted variant of DigiCert Private CA:
Under User management, select API users.
Select Create API user.
Enter user details.
Select the Issuance user role.
Select Create.
