User roles
Define and manage user roles to control what users can access and which actions they can perform in DigiCert® AI Trust Manager. Assign roles based on responsibilities and required permissions to ensure users have the appropriate level of access.
AI Trust Manager provides predefined roles for common responsibilities, or you can create custom roles based on your organization’s needs.

Predefined user roles
DigiCert® Account Manager provides the following predefined user roles for the users who need access to AI Trust:
User role | Description |
|---|---|
AI Trust Administrator | Organization administrator responsible for configuring and managing the AI Trust environment, including users, access, integrations, policies, and organization-wide settings. |
Security Operator | Responsible for day-to-day AI Trust operations, monitoring AI agents, and responding to security and trust-related risks across the environment. |
Auditor | Responsible for reviewing AI agent and model activities, trust decisions, policies, and audit evidence to verify that AI systems operate according to organizational security and governance requirements. |
Custom user roles
Create a custom user role in DigiCert® Account Manager by giving the role a name, specifying its account scope, and selecting the access permissions it includes.
