Review certificate readiness
Reviewing certificate readiness helps prevent delays during validation and issuance.
Before you begin
Before requesting certificates, you must complete configuring the account, organization, and domain.
Check organization validation
Ensure your organization is validated:
In the CertCentral main menu, go to Account > Organizations.
Confirm the organization status is validated.
Notice
OV and EV certificates cannot be requested until organization validation is complete.
Check domain validation
In the CertCentral main menu, go to Validation > Domains.
Confirm the domain status is validated.
Validated domains allow you to request certificates without additional verification steps.
Certificate request requirements
Before submitting a certificate request, confirm:
A certificate signing request (CSR) is generated
Organization and domain validation are complete
Required contacts and details are accurate
Completing these checks ensures a smooth certificate issuance process.
