Revalidate organizations and domains
All organizations and domains must be revalidated in CertCentral before certificates can be issued. Validation from a previous platform is not transferred. CertCentral validation is fully electronic — no paper forms are required or accepted.
Revalidation can be completed in two ways:
Prevalidation: validate organizations and domains before placing certificate orders to enable faster issuance. See Perform domain control validation (DCV).
During the order process: validate organizations and domains as part of a certificate request. See Order and manage certificates.
Notice
DigiCert recommends completing prevalidation before placing certificate orders. Prevalidated domains allow for immediate or faster certificate issuance.
