Request a code signing certificate from a CertCentral subscription

Request a new certificate for a code signing subscription in your DigiCert CertCentral account.

Before you begin

Confirm you have an active code signing subscription. See Add a code signing certificate subscription.

Request code signing certificates for a subscription account

  1. In the CertCentral main menu, go to My digital trust products > My subscription.

  2. Find the code signing product subscription that you want to request a certificate for.

  3. For that subscription, select Actions > Request a certificate.

  4. Select the Validity period (how long the certificate is valid for when issued).

  5. Add or select the Organization that develops or publishes the code you want to sign.

  6. Select the Provisioning method.

    Anmerkung

    Available provisioning methods depend on the code signing subscriptions in your account.

    • DigiCert-provided hardware token—Confirm or update Shipping information.

    • Use existing token—Select Platform to select your token model.

    • Install on an HSM—Confirm compatibility requirements and upload or paste your CSR (Certificate Signing Request).

    • DigiCert KeyLocker cloud HSM—KeyLocker subscription required.

  7. Select Submit request to place the certificate order.
