Domain validation service
DigiCert® Continuous Validation is an automated solution for validating the domains associated with your DigiCert account to facilitate certificate issuance. It uses DNS-based domain control validation (DCV) to validate ownership, continuously revalidating the domains to ensure they're always ready to issue public DigiCert certificates without the need for manual intervention.
Domains are automatically imported from DigiCert CertCentral® or can be added manually. DigiCert Continuous Validation monitors each domain for you and periodically revalidates it based on your configured policy. The service includes a centralized inventory of domains, with visibility into domain health and validation status.
Prerequisites
To start using the DigiCert Continuous Validation, make sure these prerequisites are satisfied:
The domain validation service must be enabled for your account. To verify, go to the Inventory page in DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager and make sure the Domains tab appears.
You need an active CertCentral connector in Trust Lifecycle Manager. To learn more, see DigiCert CertCentral.
