Manage certificate profiles

Ways to manage profiles

From the Policies > Certificate profiles page in DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager:

Available management actions

Available management actions depend on the profile type and status and may include the following. Select the links for more details about each action.

Action

Description

Activate profile

Reactivate a suspended certificate profile so it can be used to issue certificates again.

Check status

For CertCentral profiles only, force a sync operation with the linked CertCentral account to check for any issues. The profile status updates to Active if the profile is ready to use, otherwise the status updates to Action needed and the profile details page shows a banner with troubleshooting information.

Clone profile

Duplicate the certificate profile as the basis for creating a new one.

Delete profile

Permanently delete the certificate profile.

Download profile config

Download a local copy of the profile configuration in JSON format.

Edit profile

Edit the main certificate profile configuration options.

Regenerate ACME URL and EAB credentials

For ACME-enabled certificate profiles only, regenerate the ACME external account binding (EAB) credentials associated with the profile.

Suspend profile

Disable the certificate profile to prevent it from being used until reactivated.

Manage self-service portal access

For certificate profiles configured with the self-service portal option, you can enable or disable portal access directly from the profiles table:

  1. From the Trust Lifecycle Manager menu, go to Policies > Certificate profiles.

  2. Make sure the SSP enabled column appears in the table. If not, use the Add columns function on the top-right to add this column.

  3. (Optional) Use the filter for the SSP enabled column to list profiles with the self-service portal option enabled or disabled.

  4. Use the toggle switch in the SSP enabled column to enable or disable access to the self-service portal for a profile.

Hinweis

Check the profile details or portal settings to find the self-service URLs for profiles with the self-service option and access enabled.
