Linux: Uninstall a sensor

Before you begin

  • Root or administrative privileges are required.

Uninstall sensor

  1. Stop the sensor. (See Linux: Stop a sensor)

  2. Delete the installation directory and its content.

    For example:

    ccsensor

    Where ccsensor is the sensor installation directory.

Uninstall sensor service

  1. Stop the sensor. (See Linux: Stop a sensor)

  2. Go to the sensor installation directory (for example, ccsensor).

  3. Run service-uninstall.sh to uninstall and remove the sensor service from your server.

  4. Delete the installation directory and its content from your machine.
