Disable and enable a certificate profile

To perform this action, you must have a user role that contains the Solution administrator permission.

If a certificate profile is no longer needed but may be needed again, you can disable it.

Note

When you disable a certificate profile, you prevent creating or updating the associated certificate management policies.

Disable a certificate profile

  1. In the Device Trust Manager menu, go to Certificate management > Certificate settings > Certificate profiles.

  2. Select the certificate profile you want to disable.

  3. Click More actions > Disable.

The certificate profile's Status displays Disabled.

Enable a certificate profile

  1. In the Device Trust Manager menu, go to Certificate management > Certificate settings > Certificate profiles.

  2. Select a Disabled certificate profile you want to enable.

  3. Click More actions > Enable.

When you return to the Certificate profiles page, the Status of the profile is now Active. The certificate profile will now appear on forms where a certificate profile is required.
