Run a diagnostic check
A diagnostic check evaluates a domain against all applicable policies automatically, with no policy selection step. Results aren't saved to your account.
Select Diagnostics from the left navigation menu.
In Domain name, enter the fully qualified domain name to check (for example, example.com).
Select Run.
DigiCert® Posture Management evaluates the domain and displays the results on the same page. Select Run Again to run a new check.

The results page displays 3 summary cards:
Posture Score: The domain's posture score out of 100 for this diagnostic run.
Policies Checked: The number of policies evaluated during the run.
Violations: The number of policy violations detected.
The Evaluation Result table lists each policy evaluated, with the following columns:
Policy: The policy that was evaluated.
Principle: The principle the policy belongs to.
Outcome: Whether the policy check passed or failed (Pass or Fail).
Confidence: The confidence level of the result.
Impact: The posture score points at stake for this policy.
Findings: The number of findings detected for this policy in this run.
If any violations are detected, a Findings table appears below the evaluation results with the following columns:
Finding: The name of the violation detected.
Details: A plain-language description of the issue.
Record: The DNS record associated with the finding, if applicable.
The Diagnostic evidence panel is available by selecting View Evidence. It displays the raw signal data collected during the evaluation as a JSON payload. Copy copies the data to the clipboard.
