View audit event details
The Audit Event panel shows the full details of a single change. The information displayed varies depending on the entity type and action.
The panel always displays the following:
Event action and source: The type of change (for example, Created or Portfolio assigned) and whether a user or the system initiated it.
Timestamp: The date and time the change occurred.
Event ID: A unique identifier for this audit event.
Entity Type: The type of object that changed.
Entity Name: The name of the object that changed.
Entity ID: The unique identifier of the object.
User ID: The unique identifier of the user who initiated the change.
Correlation ID: The ID of a related or parent event, if applicable.
Triggered By: The event that triggered this change, if applicable.
State Change
The State Change section shows the state of the entity before and after the change. The format varies by event type. Some events display a JSON payload showing the full before and after state. Others display a readable summary showing the specific fields that changed and their new values.
Triggered Events
Not all events generate downstream changes. Events with an Added or Removed action can trigger downstream changes in other entities. When this occurs, the panel displays a Triggered Events section listing each downstream change with its own before and after state, and a View triggered events button.
Select View triggered events to filter the Audit Log to events triggered by this event. The Audit Log page displays a banner showing "Showing events triggered by event [event ID]" above the filtered results. Select × on the banner to clear the filter and return to the full log.
Select Close to dismiss the panel.
