Service user

Service users perform cryptographic actions and manage our clients, however service users do not have access to the DigiCert​​®​​ Document Trust Manager UI. 

Service users are only identified by an alias and an email address for notifications.

Create a service user

  1. Sign in to DigiCert ONE.

  2. Navigate to: Manager menu (top-right) Account > Access > Service users.

  3. Select Create service user.

  4. Enter the following service user information:

    Field

    Description

    Friendly name

    Enter a unique, easily identifiable name for the user.

    Description

    Further illustrate the purpose of this user. This is an optional field.

    End date

    Determines when the service user credential expires. This is an optional field.

    Email

    Enter service user's email address.

    DigiCert ONE Manager access

    Select Document Trust.

    Note

    Additionally, select Account if the user is required to manage other users, accounts, or organizations.

  5. Select Next.

  6. Assign DigiCert​​®​​ Document Trust Manager roles for the service user:
