Licensing and plans
Quantum Central is available as part of the DigiCert® ONE platform through subscription plans. Your plan determines the features, feature limits, and historical data retention available to you. Licensing is based on the number of billable cryptographic assets in your current inventory.
All subscription plans support unlimited users. You can use Quantum Central with or without Trust Lifecycle Manager.
Cryptographic assets
A cryptographic asset is the unit used to measure license consumption. Each of the following counts as one asset.

How assets are counted
Consider the following rules while counting assets:
Assets count regardless of their source.
The same asset counts once if it is imported more than once or found through multiple sources.
Certificate renewals, reissues, and rotations count as the same certificate when the subject name and subject alternative names stay the same.
The key in a counted certificate does not count as a separate standalone key.
Expired and revoked certificates do not count, but they may remain in the inventory for posture assessment.
A deleted asset stops counting immediately. It counts again if you add it back.
For example:
3 active certificates and 1 TLS endpoint count as 4 cryptographic assets.
3 active certificates and 2 expired certificates count as 3 cryptographic assets.
A certificate imported from Trust Lifecycle Manager and also found by an endpoint scan counts as 1 cryptographic asset.

License usage
Quantum Central reports your current cryptographic asset consumption to DigiCert ONE. Asset allocations use soft limits, so exceeding your allocation does not stop imports, scans, or discovery. Overages are reconciled periodically. In DigiCert ONE Account Manager, you can view your license type, remaining allocation, and total allocation.
Subscription plans
Each subscription plan defines its available features and feature limits. Unlike asset allocations, feature limits are enforced. For details about the currently available plan, see Essentials plan.
